The GRTiQ 10: Liam Doyle (Ep. 119)

In an episode of the GRTiQ Podcast, Nick had a conversation with Liam Doyle and asked him the GRTiQ 10 questions, designed to offer listeners new insights or ideas for personal growth. Here’s what Liam had to share:

Liam’s most impactful book is not a book, but a podcast called “The Diary of a CEO” by Steven Bartlett. The podcast offers insights into various aspects of life and work that Liam finds both engaging and life-changing.

In terms of TV shows or movies, Liam prefers documentaries that take him away from reality and provide in-depth information about topics like ancient civilizations, lost times, or unsolved mysteries.

If forced to choose one music album to listen to for the rest of his life, he would go for Lewis Capaldi, mainly for his relaxing music and personality.

The best advice he has ever received is to “under promise and over-deliver”. Liam believes in setting personal standards and maintaining them consistently regardless of who is or isn’t watching.

One thing he’s learned that he thinks most people haven’t is a simple formula to lift one’s mood: exercise and eat healthily, listen to upbeat music, and watch a favourite stand-up comedian.

Liam’s life hack for problem-solving is to sleep on it. He believes that a good night’s sleep can help his brain figure things out.

In terms of success in life, Liam believes it’s essential to define what success means for you personally and not let others’ success influence your life path. He advocates for finding a balance that caters to both professional aspirations and personal relationships/experiences.

When asked to complete the sentence, “The thing that most excites me about web3 is…”, Liam chose “open source community contributions.”

If you’re on Twitter, Liam suggests following @GRTCrypto and the @GRTiQ Podcast for early and accurate news.

Finally, Liam shared that he is happiest when he can escape into the world of GRTDataHub and coding after a long workday, even if it makes him lose track of time. https://www.grtiq.com/grtiq-podcast-119-liam-doyle/
