The GRTiQ 10 is a weekly Q&A segment that wraps up every episode of the GRTiQ Podcast, offering listeners a fun and personal look at each guest. Through ten thoughtfully crafted questions, guests reveal their favorite books, music, and life hacks, share impactful advice, and reflect on their vision for the future. Designed to uncover what inspires and motivates them, the GRTiQ 10 provides practical takeaways and fosters a deeper connection between listeners and guests.
In a recent episode of the GRTiQ Podcast, Garvit Goel shared his thoughts and experiences during the GRTiQ 10 segment. Garvit offered insights into his philosophy on success, life lessons, and his vision for the future of web3.
Garvit admitted he doesn’t read books often but mentioned that the first page of Zero to One by Peter Thiel left a lasting impression. For TV recommendations, he suggested American Genius by National Geographic, a compelling series showcasing the stories behind revolutionary companies and innovators like Henry Ford.
When asked about music, Garvit explained that he doesn’t have a specific album preference but enjoys ambient music and random playlists on YouTube.
The best advice Garvit received came during his journey in crypto and startups: prioritize distribution over tech and product. This principle has guided his approach to building and scaling ventures.
Garvit emphasized the importance of long-term thinking and integrity, especially in the fast-paced world of crypto. He firmly believes that “doing the right thing” leads to success in the long run, contrasting with the short-sighted strategies often seen in the industry.
While still experimenting, Garvit mentioned trying meditation to enhance focus. Although it hasn’t been a game-changer yet, he remains open to discovering the perfect life hack.
For Garvit, success is rooted in how much someone truly desires a goal and their reasons for pursuing it. He highlighted the importance of enduring challenges and aligning efforts with meaningful motivations.
The thing that most excites me about the future of web3 is… “Hopefully, we’ll eventually see mass adoption.”
If you’re on X (formerly Twitter), you should be following… “Electron’s Twitter account and Andrew Cote, a deep-tech thinker.”
I’m happiest when… “After putting in a hard day of work and seeing good results by the end of the day.”
Catch the full episode to learn more about Garvit’s entrepreneurial journey and the innovative solutions he’s building at Electron to address web3’s biggest challenges. Listen here.
