The GRTiQ 10: Eliott Teissonniere (Ep. 177)

In a recent episode of the GRTiQ Podcast, Eliott Teissonniere shared his thoughts and insights during the GRTiQ 10 segment, providing listeners with personal reflections and valuable advice.

When asked about the book that had the most impact on his life, Eliott chose “The Unfair Advantage” by Ash Ali and Hasan Kubba. This book highlights the idea that everyone has unique advantages that can be leveraged for success. Eliott emphasized the importance of recognizing and playing the cards life deals you, rather than focusing on what others have.

Eliott recommended the TV show “Mr. Robot,” which he found particularly intriguing due to its portrayal of more nerdy characters and people on the spectrum. He believes this show is especially interesting for those in the crypto space.

Although he doesn’t listen to much music, Eliott described his ideal album as one with minimal speech, high energy, and electronic beats—perfect for maintaining focus in noisy environments.

The best advice Eliott has received is, “The grass is never greener on the other side.” This advice helped him focus on giving his all to his chosen opportunities without constantly wondering about alternate paths.

One unique lesson Eliott has learned is the importance of balancing strong opinions with the ability to adapt when presented with new information. He believes this skill is crucial for success, especially in technical fields.

Eliott’s best life hack involves using noise-canceling AirPods and electronic music to achieve hyperfocus. He has trained his brain to associate this setup with deep concentration, making it easier to enter a focused state on demand.

Based on his observations, Eliott believes that obsession is a key characteristic of successful people. He noted that many highly successful individuals are driven by an intense focus on solving specific problems, which fuels their perseverance and resilience.

In the final three questions, Eliott completed the sentences as follows:

  1. The thing that most excites him about web3 is governance and the ability to take better decisions.
  2. On X (formerly Twitter), he recommended following Noble Network for insights and updates.
  3. He is happiest when he is shaping impactful projects and seeing the positive effects of his work.
