The GRTiQ 10: Christina Mills (Ep.89)

During a recent GRTiQ Podcast, Christina Mills shared illuminating insights and personal anecdotes, giving listeners a glimpse into her inspirations and influences. The GRTiQ 10 is a weekly segment diving into the personal inspirations, influences, and insights of our guests, aiming to inspire listeners to discover new perspectives, embrace novel experiences, or achieve more in their lives.

Bearing testament to the transformative power of literature, Christina mentioned “Becoming Supernatural” as the book that made a significant impact on her life. The text, emphasizing the power of thoughts on our future and physical health, was an eye-opener for her. While she didn’t single out any movie or TV show as a must-watch, she did mention her appreciation for past guests’ suggestions on the podcast.

On the musical front, Christina chose to sidestep the typical album response, instead opting for the SiriusXM Channel, “The Message.” This Christian music channel stands out for its uplifting melodies and lyrics. Delving into personal memories, Christina fondly recalled a phrase her late father often reiterated: “If it were easy, everyone would do it.” This mantra provides solace and motivation during challenging times.

A significant realization Christina has embraced, which she feels many might not have grasped yet, is that it’s never too late to commence something new – be it a career, hobby, or a habit. Shifting gears, she pointed to YouTube’s guided meditations and frequency sounds as her go-to life hacks. These tools help streamline her scattered thoughts and provide moments of reprieve.

In her view, the cornerstone of success, distilled to a single word, is “consistency.” Venturing into the realm of web3, what excites Christina the most is the potential emergence of a system that is trustless, permission-less, and decentralized. For those active on Twitter, she suggested following “Graph Advocates” for its diverse insights and “Women Build web3” for its refreshing content, especially highlighting their initiative of “30 days of web3.”

To wrap things up, Christina illuminated her happiest moments: being close to nature, specifically water bodies, in the company of her family. Newly into paddle-boarding, she feels a unique connection with nature, combined with the warmth of family, which fosters an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

Through this segment, Christina Mills paints a picture of resilience, personal growth, and an appreciation for life’s finer, often overlooked, moments
