The GRTiQ 10: Mable Jiang (Ep. 126)

During her conversation with Nick on the GRTiQ Podcast, Mable Jiang shared her thoughts and experiences on a variety of topics through the GRTiQ 10, which aims to provide listeners with unique insights and avenues for personal growth.

Interestingly, the most impactful “book” for Mable wasn’t a book at all but a combination of three distinct works: the sci-fi novel “Three-Body Problem,” the insightful “Debt Crisis” by Ray Dalio, and the “Diamond Sutra,” which has greatly influenced her meditation practice and perspective on life.

When it comes to screen entertainment, Mable recommends the thought-provoking “Blade Runner” series, both the original movie and its sequel, “Blade Runner 2049“.

In terms of music, if she had to choose one album for the rest of her life, she’d go with something by Hans Zimmer, the legendary composer known for creating mesmerizing scores for many iconic films.

The best advice Mable has ever received revolves around the simple yet profound idea of living true to oneself, to “follow your heart” and prioritize personal feelings over societal expectations.

One thing Mable has learned in her life that she believes others may not fully grasp yet is the power of repetition. She firmly believes that with enough repetition, nearly any skill or task can be mastered.

Her go-to life hack? Intermittent fasting. This form of diet control has had a significant impact on her daily routine and wellness.

When it comes to finding success in life, Mable believes in the power of focusing on personal problems rather than sourcing issues from the external world. She suggests this internal focus can lead to personal growth and success.

Completing the sentence, “The thing that most excites me about the future of web3 is…,” Mable chose “Data sovereignty,” emphasizing the transformative potential of decentralization in the digital world.

For those on Twitter, she recommends following STEPN Official, a platform that provides gamified fitness and health experiences.

And lastly, Mable shared that she’s happiest when she can provide value and empower other people, a sentiment that echoes her commitment to making a difference in the world of web3 and beyond. https://www.grtiq.com/grtiq-podcast-126-mable-jiang/
